In the summer, ‘Les Grands Pralins’ is a leisure centre that offers childcare throughout the summer with a range of activities aimed at 3-12 year olds. They will be kept busy with a range of activities encompassing sports, arts and discovery of the mountains. Snowkidz provide a nanny service in Courchevel, accepting babies and children up to 8 years old. All staff, from head office to those working in resort, are qualified to work with children, or hold significant childcare experience in order to deliver a professional service, second to none.
Les Farfadets are a private babysitting / nanny agency based in France. They offer a flexible service from a minimum of 2 hours up to a full week. Many of the carers are British or English speaking and the Les Farfadets office is manned by English speaking staff.
In Courchevel 1850 , children from the age of 3 are taken by the ESF's Village des Enfants next to the Forum ice-rink. Here they can practice their skills and gain their first ‘star’. Under the guidance of specially trained ESF instructors and away from the daunting pistes little skiers can master mini-versions of ski lifts and practice their snow plough in safety. Children can be accepted for full or half days, from 9am to 5pm. Book on +33 (0)4 79 08 08 47. Staff are experienced, and run a program outdoor activites to introduce children to snow and make their first experience on skis enjoyable and unforgettable.
In Courchevel 1650 , children from the age of 3 are taken by the ESF's Club des Piou-Piou. There is also the Les Pitchounets on the base of the slopes which has a large play area for children to enjoy.
For children above 18 months, the Village des Enfants (1850) and Les Pitchounets (1650) also run nursery facilities, both open from 09.00 - 17.00.
For babies and children under 18 months, there is a selection of local Nursery Nurses in our Childcare section.
The resort is also affiliated with the label "Club des P'Tits Montagnards" - a charter which guarantees you the quality of supervision of children. |
