FIS Cancels Courchevel World Cup Ski Races

Early season races cancelled due to lack of snow

Next week's early season ski races in Courchevel have been cancelled due to lack of snow, the FIS announced on Friday.

Slalom and Giant Slalom races due to have taken place on the 13th and 14th December might now be held in Sweden instead. This follows other early season races also being cancelled in Val d'Isere.

A small amount of snow looks likely on this week's weather forecast, but we're still waiting for that all important big pre-Christmas dump.
