About Local Buses in Courchevel
There is a good public transport system in winter linking Courchevel to the airports, local train station at Moutiers and between each of the different resort villages.
Courchevel also has a fantastic free bus service which (during winter) connects Courchevel 1300 to 1550, 1650 & 1850 every ½ hour from 07:00 until 01:30 the next morning!
In addition this extends to every 10 minutes between 1850 & 1650 and also hourly services connecting La Tania, St Bon & Bozel into all four of the Courchevels. The timetable is available below and I’ve got to say, it runs like clockwork. During the summer, the service is less frequent (every hour from 8.40am - 11.30pm) but it increases to half hourly from mid-July to mid-August.
To get to the other 3 Valleys resorts of Meribel and Val Thorens you can ski or snowboard over using the ski lifts. Alternatively you'll have to get down the valley to Moutiers and then connect to the other resorts via bus from there.
The closest bus station to Val Thorens is at Moutiers, the town at the bottom of the mountain (which is also where you'll arrive if you're coming by train).
